Cleanse the face with lukewarm water and apply a balancing toner across the full face to prepare the skin's pH.

Pull the cap until you hear a soft pop. Insert the collector applicator into the bottle opening and invert until the chamber is fully loaded with the ampoule.

FAQs

What does “For external use only” mean?

It means the product is applied to the outside of the body - your skin - and is never to be swallowed or introduced into the body by any other route. It is the same line that appears on almost every cosmetic serum, cleanser and moisturiser sold in the US. It says nothing about which tools you may or may not use it alongside. To be completely clear: these ampoules are made to be used with microneedling pens and derma rollers. That is exactly what they are formulated for.

Is the ampule injectable?

Injecting means drawing a product into a syringe and delivering it beneath the skin. This ampoule is a topical cosmetic: it is poured or dropped onto the surface of clean skin. Never load it into a syringe or any injection device, and never let anyone inject it. It is not a filler, not a booster shot, and not a medical product. To be completely clear: "not injectable" does not mean "not for microneedling". These ampoules are made to be used with microneedling pens and derma rollers - applied to the surface of clean skin, never loaded into a syringe.

Can I use the serum on broken or irritated skin?

This refers to the condition your skin is already in before you start: open cuts, grazes, sunburn, an active infection, a cold sore, an eczema or rosacea flare, or skin that is currently sore. Apply to clean, intact, comfortable skin, and always follow the instructions that came with your device. If your skin is compromised, wait until it has settled. To be completely clear: this warning is about the condition your skin is in before you begin, not about the tools you use. These ampoules are made to be used with microneedling pens and derma rollers on clean, intact, comfortable skin.

Should I perform a patch test before first use?

A patch test is routine for any new skincare, not a warning about this one in particular. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm or behind the ear, leave for 24 hours, and check for any reaction before using it on your face.

What should I do if discomfort occurs?

It is a general precaution found on nearly every skincare product. Most people use the ampoules without any issue. If your skin does become uncomfortable, stop, keep your routine simple for a few days, and speak to a professional if it persists.

Is this a cosmetic product?
